PARISH ORGANISATIONS AND GROUPS
Although worshipping God in the beauty of holiness is the basic reason for the existence of the Church, fellowship with one another in mission and service is vital to Christian life. In the Parish there are various organisations which contribute to the life and mission of the Church, and in doing so provide fellowship and a sense of belonging to those who are a part of them.
CARITAS
This is a fellowship group that is a part of MU Australia and meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7.00pm in the Parish Centre and is open to all.
BIBLE STUDY, PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP GROUPS
These meet at various times: to deepen our understanding of the faith and its implications for modern living and also to support in intercession our joys, hopes and needs. New members are always welcome at any of these groups. Please contact the Rector on 3857 5734

PASTORAL CARE PROGRAM

SINGING GROUP - ST. ANDREW'S SINGERS
Meets in the church for singing practice on Sunday afternoon for 1 hour at 4.30pm. This Group sings at special Services in the Liturgical Calendar and also on the first and last Sunday of the month at the combined 8.30am service. New members are always welcome. Claire Dean is Co-ordinator.
BELL RINGERS
St. Andrew's is one of the few churches in Brisbane to house 13 bells and indeed the Church is well known in the local community for its beautiful bell ringing. If you are interested in learning to ring the bells please contact the Rector.
ST ANDREWS COFFEE FELLOWSHIP
Meets on 4th Sunday of every month at 3.00pm in the food court at Stafford Shopping Centre - just outside the cinema complex. This is a supportive fellowship group for single women in the parish and is about building community and relating well to one another- all values that model how Christ taught us how to live. Gloria Cawthorne is Convenor and is able to be contacted at 3357 8213 (home) or 3842 4000 (work)
A.C.O.R.N. GROUP
This group’s name is the acronym for Arts, Craft or Renascent Needlework and it meets on the 4th Thursday of each month in the parish hall as a no cost fellowship and craft meeting for any who would care to join. The Co-ordinator for the Craft group is Beryl Stephens.
MU ANNA GROUP
Meets for fellowship with morning tea and prayer in the Parish Hall on 2nd Tuesday morning of each month at 10.00am. All are welcome. This group primarily functions are a fellowship and prayer group that underpins the ministries functioning throughout this parish. Please contact the Rector if you would like further information.
